Privacy Policy

Effective August 26, 2026

Game Day Control (operated by Connected AZ, Phoenix, AZ) is a TV, game-display, and digital-signage control service for hospitality venues. This policy describes what we collect through gamedaycontrol.com, our mobile apps, and the devices you connect — and what we do with it.

What we collect

Account information. Name, email address, and a password (stored only as a salted hash). Venue owners also provide business details: venue names, addresses, contact email and phone, and timezone.

Billing.Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers — we keep only Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status.

Equipment configuration. The names and local network addresses of the TV receivers, streaming devices, displays, and kiosk devices you configure, plus the media files and playlists you upload for digital signage.

Device telemetry.Paired kiosk devices (e.g. Raspberry Pi players) report their software version, what they are currently showing, storage headroom, and recent diagnostic log lines so you can manage them remotely. Your receivers’ current channel is read on your own network to power the live status panel.

Usage basics. Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) from our hosting provider, used for security and reliability. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use it

To provide the service: signing you in, scoping data to your venue, executing the channel changes and display updates you request, sending transactional email (invitations, password resets, receipts, support replies), and billing your subscription. We also use configuration and telemetry to help you troubleshoot — including our support staff viewing your account with an audited impersonation tool when you ask for help.

Local network access (mobile apps and kiosks)

Controlling your TVs means talking to receivers on your venue’s own network. Our iOS app and kiosk software send commands directly to those devices over your LAN; those commands stay on your network. The app asks for iOS’s Local Network permission for exactly this purpose and nothing else.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Neon), Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional email — each only what they need. Sports scores and TV listings are fetched from third-party data providers; your identity is not sent to them. We disclose information if the law requires it.

Retention & deletion

Account and venue data is kept while your account is active. Deleting your account (or asking us to) removes your venues, equipment configuration, uploaded media, and staff logins; billing records are retained as required for tax and accounting. Backups age out on a rolling basis.

Your choices

You can update account and venue details in the app, export or delete uploaded media at any time, remove staff access per location, and cancel your subscription from the billing page. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@gamedaycontrol.com.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), passwords are hashed, staff logins are limited to their assigned location, and device pairing uses one-time codes with per-device tokens. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

This is a business service for venues and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes & contact

We’ll post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date. Questions: support@gamedaycontrol.com or +1 (833) 309-4263.
