Terms of Service

Game Day Control is a web-based control system for hospitality venues: TV receiver control, scheduled channel changes, live game displays, and digital signage. It works with equipment you own and subscriptions you hold — a compatible TV service (such as DirecTV) and any content you display remain your responsibility and are governed by your agreements with those providers. Game Day Control is not affiliated with or endorsed by DirecTV, Roku, or any sports league; their names are trademarks of their owners, used only to describe compatibility.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping credentials confidential. Venue owners may invite staff users; staff access is limited to the assigned location, and the owner is responsible for their staff’s use of the service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Plans are billed per location, monthly, in advance through Stripe: Control at $19.99/mo, Control + Game Display at $24.99/mo, Control + Game Display + Digital Signage at $29.99/mo. New locations start with a 14-day free trial of the Control tier — no card required; the location drops to the free tier if you don’t subscribe.

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the billing page; cancellation stops future charges and access to paid features continues through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice, effective at your next renewal.

You keep ownership of the media you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, cache, and display it on your screens, and you promise you have the rights to everything you upload and display — including music, video, logos, and game footage shown in your venue.

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to access other customers’ data, probe or overload our systems, resell the service without a partnership agreement, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other customers at risk.

We aim for continuous availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties; sports data, TV listings, and third-party integrations can change or become unavailable outside our control. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost business), and our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

You can close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend for material breach of these terms; where practical we’ll give notice and a chance to fix the issue first. On termination, the Privacy Policy’s deletion terms apply to your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, with disputes heard in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County, Arizona. If we update these terms we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date; continued use after a change is acceptance. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
