🗓️ Auto Scheduler

Auto Scheduler: Plan a Whole Game Day in Two Taps

A busy Saturday means a dozen games, half a dozen boxes, and somebody doing math on a napkin to figure out what goes where. The Auto Scheduler does that part: pick the games you want on, and it pairs them onto your boxes by air time and expected end, so nothing overlaps and no box sits idle.

Once it is saved, the day runs itself. Each box changes channel just before air, TVs with a screen player show a pregame countdown first, and a late game takes over its box the moment the game before it goes final — whether or not anyone has the dashboard open.

What this fixes

Working out which game goes on which box

Pick the games; the scheduler sorts them by air time and estimated length and suggests a box for each run of games. Change any box with one tap before you save.

More games than boxes

When games outnumber boxes at the busiest moment, the extra game starts late on a box and switches over as soon as the game before it is final — checked live, not guessed.

Dead air before kickoff

Turn on the pregame screen and each TV shows the matchup and a countdown 15 to 60 minutes before air, then switches to the game. It can hold until the game actually starts if the one before runs long.

The same game on several TVs

Put a run of games on more than one box at once, or copy one box’s whole schedule to others — with a clear warning before anything already scheduled is replaced.

How it works

  1. 1Open the Schedule page and tap Auto Scheduler.
  2. 2Pick today’s games you want on — each one already knows its channel in your market.
  3. 3Check the suggested box (or boxes) for each run of games, and the pregame length.
  4. 4Tap Schedule. Channel changes, pregames, and late switches run on their own all day.

Frequently asked questions

Does the schedule run if nobody has the app open?+

Yes, with a command bridge — a Raspberry Pi or PC on the venue network. The bridge fires every scheduled channel change, pregame, and late switch on its own. Without one, scheduled changes only fire while someone has the dashboard open on the venue network.

What happens when two games overlap and I run out of boxes?+

The scheduler starts the later game on a box as soon as the game before it ends. It watches the live score, so if the first game goes to overtime the switch waits for the final.

Which TVs show the pregame screen?+

Smart TVs (LG, Samsung, Vizio, Fire TV, Google TV, Roku TV) and TVs with a Roku or Raspberry Pi on them. Other TVs are simply tuned at the right time.

Does it work with a video matrix?+

Yes. In Matrix mode you pick the cable box for each run of games, then the TVs routed to it; each TV shows its pregame and switches to its matrix input at kickoff.

Which plan includes the Auto Scheduler?+

The Scheduling plan and above. Every new location starts with a free trial of the full feature set.
