Restaurant TV & Digital Signage Management
Restaurant screens have two jobs and they fight each other: keep guests entertained, and sell what the kitchen wants to move. Most places end up with TVs stuck on one channel all day and a promo loop nobody has updated since last season.
Game Day Control runs both from one place. Screens show the game when it matters and your specials the rest of the time, and the switch happens on a schedule instead of on somebody remembering.
What this fixes
Screens stuck on whatever was on last night
Set what each screen shows from your phone β a channel, a live game display, or a playlist β and change it in seconds when the room changes.
Promos that go stale
Build playlists of images and video for happy hour, specials, and events. Schedule a takeover for a limited-time promo and it reverts on its own when the promotion ends.
Nobody wants to manage another system
One dashboard covers TV channels and signage. Staff use a tablet behind the host stand, and with the small on-site connector installed, managers can change screens from anywhere.
Screens go dark when the internet hiccups
Media plays from local storage on the player, so menus and promos keep running even during an outage.
How it works
- 1Upload your promo images and videos and arrange them into playlists.
- 2Assign a playlist to each screen β dining room, bar, patio, waiting area.
- 3Schedule a takeover for limited-time promotions; it reverts automatically at the end date.
- 4On game days, switch any screen to a live game or a score display in one tap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use one system for both TV channels and digital signage?+
Yes β that is the point. The same dashboard changes DirecTV channels, drives live game displays, and plays your image and video playlists, so you are not paying for and learning two products.
What hardware do I need for restaurant digital signage?+
A Raspberry Pi (or a spare Windows PC) connected to each screen you want to run signage on, plus your existing TVs and DirecTV receivers. Setup is one command and a pairing code; the player then updates itself over the air.
Can promotions change automatically on a schedule?+
Yes. A timed takeover plays a promo playlist for a set window β a weekend, a week, a season β and the screen returns to its regular loop automatically when it expires.
Will my menus keep playing if the internet goes down?+
Yes. Each player caches its media locally, so playback continues through an outage and picks up any changes when the connection returns.
